We're really excited to be working on Basecamp at our base in Llanberis. Our plan is to eventually offer bunkhouse style accommodation to clients, and a dedicated meeting space attached to the bunkhouse where Mountain Independence clients can enjoy a morning drink and hang out before their course starts each day. Basecamp will also serve as motivation to get back for a well earned treat after a day in the mountains!

The COVID-19 pandemic has slowed progress on the project; our current focus is getting back to doing what we love best - instructing people in the mountains. We're still pushing it forward though and have exciting plans to make Basecamp a special place for outdoor adventurers to hang out.

In the meantime we still have a private space where we'll hold morning briefings, make our daily plans, and collect any group kit. We'll also use the space to run through theoretical aspects of your course and deliver presentations.

Although Basecamp isn't fully up and running yet you'll still get to enjoy a free Tea or Coffee, and a treat at the end of the course and benefit from the private meeting space : )
